The Islamic Republic's judiciary has sentenced Sosan Hassanzadeh, a Kurdish language instructor and activist, to three months of imprisonment on charges of "propaganda activities" against the clerical establishment.
Hassanzadeh was arrested on May 15 after security forces violently raided her house.
She was held in Urmia Central Prison for two months before being temporarily released on bail pending the completion of her trial.
Throughout her detention, Hassanzadeh was denied the right to a lawyer and was only allowed one brief phone call with her family.
