Police in North Khorasan province have arrested 29 individuals on charges of practicing "Satanism" and possessing illegal substances.
Saeed Motahhari-Zadeh, the chief of police for North Khorasan, said that the arrests took place during a gathering at a villa.
He accused the group of Satan worshipping and claimed that "alcoholic beverages, Satanic paraphernalia, and various hallucinogenic substances" were found at the location.
The police official noted that most arrested individuals were not local to the area.
