Tehran authorities have arrested two suspects in the killing of University of Tehran student Amir Mohammad Khaleghi, officials announced on Tuesday.
Criminal prosecutor Mohammad Shahriari identified the suspects as Ahmad, who committed the murder and robbery as a motorcycle passenger, and Amir, who drove the motorcycle.
Tehran Police Chief Abbas Ali Mohammadian said authorities also arrested several individuals who purchased the stolen items.
Khaleghi, 19, a second-year business management student, was fatally stabbed during a robbery outside his dormitory around 9 PM on February 12.
University of Tehran students have held protests over security concerns in the area following the killing.
