Iran’s Red Crescent chief said there were no fatalities from U.S. strikes on nuclear facilities, while the Health Ministry reported 430 civilians killed since Israel launched attacks on June 13.
“Fortunately, we did not have any martyrs in last night’s events of the U.S. aggression against Iran’s nuclear facilities,” Red Crescent Society head Pir Hossein Kolivand said, according to state television.
The statement came as Iran’s Health Ministry said at least 430 civilians have been killed and more than 3,500 wounded since Israel’s surprise attack began nine days ago.
President Donald Trump said Sunday that American forces had “completely and totally obliterated” Iran’s nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, while Iranian officials claimed the facilities had been evacuated beforehand.
